Nicht einfach zu finden, das kleine Haus. Aber letztlich für jeden Freund bzw. Sammler von Messerschmiedekunst ein Besuch, der sich lohnt. Dem (überaus freundlichen) Meister bei der Entstehung so eines optisch und haptisch grandiosen Werkstücks zu beobachten, lässt das Herz jedes Fans solcher Handwerkskunst schneller schlagen. Und preislich ist der Unterschied zu der z.B. in den Läden in Calvi angebotenen Waren aus Serienproduktion nicht relevant.Nous avons acheté un couteau magnifique chez Gilles, un vrai savoir faire et un vrai passionné. Rentrer dans cet atelier et le temps s'arrête.Tolle handwerkliche nach korsischer Tradition vom Meister persönlich angefertigte Messer. Seine handwerkliche Kunst und seine Liebe zu seinen Objekten hat mich erneut tief berührt.L'affûtage des couteaux est exceptionnellement bon marché. Hier, 3 euros pour un japonais 9 cm HRC61, affûté devant moi. Sur le continent c'est minimum 8 euros et ça peut monter bien plus haut.En recherche d’un vrai couteau corse, nous sommes tombés par hasard sur cet atelier. Gilles est un artisan passionné et très humain qui a su nous transmettre sa passion ! Nous sommes très heureux d’avoir pu le rencontrer et d’avoir acquis une de ses créations (qui en plus d’être magnifique coupe parfaitement).
